Cleaning instructions for Flotex surfaces

Maintaining Flotex surfaces is easy when cleaning is done regularly. Proper care ensures that Flotex floor coverings remain durable in use and retain their good qualities for as long as possible.

Daily cleaning of Flotex surfaces

Flotex can be easily cleaned with daily vacuuming and stain removal, which restores Flotex to its original appearance.

Periodical cleaning of Flotex surfaces

When simple vacuuming and stain removal with water are no longer sufficient, periodic cleaning with a scrubber dryer can be performed. It is advisable to schedule periodic cleaning of Flotex surfaces, for example, every two weeks or as needed after daily cleaning. A suitable cleaning agent for Flotex is Kiilto Pro Unidrop, diluted at a rate of 0.2 ml per 1 litre of water.

Basic cleaning of Flotex surfaces

A thorough cleaning of Flotex can be done with a spray-extraction machine and Kiilto Pro Unidrop cleaning agent. Increase the dosage of the cleaning agent as needed to achieve the desired level of cleanliness.

Stain removal from Flotex surfaces

Fresh coffee stains and similar spills can be removed by wiping the surface with a damp microfiber cloth. For multiple or extensive stains, a scrubber dryer can be used for removing fresh stains.

Dry and stubborn stains should be treated by moistening the stain, scraping off loose dirt, and then vacuuming the surface. Alternatively, a spray-extraction machine can also be used.

For chewing gum removal, we recommend using a steam cleaner. Chewing gum can also be frozen with a cold spray, allowing it to be carefully scraped off.
