Chemically active disinfectant for the automated disinfection of flexible endoscopes in washer-disinfectors using glutaraldehyde.
Special features
A safe disinfection level for precleaned endoscopes is achieved when the product is used in automated endoscope washer-disinfectors with dosage 1%, disinfection temperature 55°C, minimum 7.5 min contact time.
Broad spectrum microbicidal efficacy at 50 - 55 °C has been studied: bacteria, mycobacteria, fungi, viruses.

In a room temperature.
The Thermoshield Disinfectant canister is connected to the machine's automatic dispenser. The scope is connected to the cleaning and disinfection machine according to the instructions given for each device.
Before using the product, ensure that the product is suitable to be used as a disinfectant for the endoscope washer-disinfector. The temperature of the water used during the dispensing phase of the disinfectant is > 30 °C. Dosage 1%, exposure time at least 5 min, with a disinfection temperature of 50-55 °C.
Any serious incidents related to Thermoshield Desinfektant disinfectant should be reported to asiakaspalvelu@kiilto.com and to the authority responsible for medical devices (in Finland, Fimea).
