In unopened containers at +20 °C for 12 months. After long storing, stir before use.
The open assembly time and the required pressing time strongly depend on the working conditions, such as room temperature, wood moisture and quality, absorbency and tensions in the material as well as the amount of adhesive applied. In order to determine the necessary pressing time and ensure the adhesive joint strength, adequate tests are to be carried out before use in full-scale production. A higher temperature shortens the required pressing time.
See the instructions given by the foil manufacturer. Substrates to be bonded must be free from dust, grease etc. Adhesive is applied on the foil with a knife coater or roller applicator. Water from the glue application is evaporated with the help of an evaporation tunnel and/or infrared radiator. The tacky, warm adhesive surface is pressed around the batten by pressure rollers.
