The position
As Communications Manager, you will collaborate actively with Kiilto’s nine growth-oriented markets and their marketing functions with the goal of generating awareness, interest and engagement in designated target groups. As a member of the Brand and Communications team, you will have the opportunity to work with our four business areas in a dynamic, international environment. You will focus on building our corporate brand across the Nordic market and internally amongst Kiiltonians. We will provide a unique working experience at the forefront of environmental leadership. The position is located in the metropolitan areas of Helsinki, Tampere, Malmö, Stockholm or Oslo, or in Assens, Denmark.
Responsibilities and duties
- Developing and maintaining PR, media and stakeholder relations particularly in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, including target setting and monitoring.
- Producing compelling content. This involves creating written editorial content, such as articles and press releases, as well as engaging video content for a variety of internal and external channels. The production of video content includes scripting, filming and editing.
- Developing and supporting Kiiltonians’ communication capabilities and creating a strong sense of community within Kiilto.
- Supporting and coordinating content production across markets and business areas.
- Managing external group communications, such as website, social media and digital content production.
- Planning and executing impactful communication campaigns.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Solid storytelling, writing and text editing skills. Ability to distil complex issues into concise and compelling stories.
- Deep understanding of and a general interest in the field of communication, including the phenomena, future and development, as well as the practices, tools and techniques.
- Excellent presentation, communication and interaction skills, as well as a service-oriented can-do attitude.
- Prior experience in PR and media-related activities. An understanding of the Swedish media landscape and culture is a significant asset.
- Approachable, enthusiastic and empathetic disposition, natural ability to create positive energy.
- Good organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Experience and interest in social media and digital content production tools.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in communication, media, journalism, marketing or other relevant field.
- 4+ years of experience working in a similar role.
- Native or equivalent proficiency in English as well as a professional proficiency in Swedish, Finnish or other Nordic language.
